Not Building a List is a Mistake

If you've spent a week marketing anything online you've probably already read or heard the importance of building a list of interested contacts and of people that have bought from you.

If you're completely new, let me be the first to tell you, list building is of utmost importance.

Of course there there are instances where a business owner can get away without one. Basically that is the case if you already have subscribers or a large following on social media.

Since traffic or getting eyeballs in front of your offers, products or services is the biggest problem you face a list is absolutely essential.

You can buy traffic or some form of advertising. The caveat is most people simply won't buy from someone they don't know, especially the first time they are exposed to your product or service.

If you collect email addresses or even phone numbers you have a much better chance of recouping ad/traffic costs by building trust with your prospective customers. The statistics show that people will only buy from you after an average of seven separate contacts.

If you think about how many more large businesses are collecting people's Information via apps and email lists. There is one simple reason for this, it increases sales, initial and repeat.
